Speaker Information + Resources

Thank you for your interest in speaking at the Create with Your Cardmaking Stash Summit. I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off an incredible event!

The Create with Your Cardmaking Stash Summit is a 3-day event that will help cardmakers boost their confidence and learn cardmaking principles they can use to make endless cards they are proud of using supplies from their stash!.

On this page, you’ll find resources meant to make being an instructor as easy as possible and answer any questions you have. If you run into a question I didn’t answer, email me at justine@justinehovey.com

If you’ve been a part of events including webinars, summits, or other collaborative offerings and found that they didn’t go so smoothly or benefit you as a speaker, I encourage you to check out what my past speakers have had to say!

As an instructor, you’ll also get free access to the All Access Pass (aka the VIP experience of the summit). This is a paid opportunity. Details below!

How it will work

The Create with Your Cardmaking Stash Summit will run from January 29-31st, 2026. Presentations will include 15-30 minutes of content, a chance to pitch something at the end of your video (max. 3 minutes). You will be required to submit instructions on how to make your card, a supply list and photos of your project.

To make things easy, everything is pre-recorded so you don’t have to be available during the summit weekend. I will be scheduling some fun events during the weekend that you can participate in if you are interested. This is all voluntary. I will be sending out emails closer to the event to see who is interested.

Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to have fun in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. I will have a post scheduled specifically for your presentation so attendees can ask questions there and it’s a good chance to show you off.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics! I’ll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the All Access Pass. This includes an all-access pass for the replays as well as several bonuses.

This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and grow your email list. Yay!

What I'll ask of you

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it!

1. Basic Information

The first thing I’ll need is some basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page.

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 15-30 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they really can apply their own stash while creating a similar card, rather than using very specific supplies that can’t be recreated with other techniques.

As mentioned, each day of the summit will have a theme that allows our attendees to apply the knowledge to their personal stash. Please sign up for a theme while submitting your basic information.

The themes are:

  • Day 1: Let’s Use Up That Paper for Amazing Cards!
  • Day 2: Go From Beginner to Intermediate Cards
  • Day 3: Double Your Cards with these Techniques!

Please note, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future. Please note that your presentation is exclusive to the summit until January 2027.

Example Presentation Outline::

  • A quick introduction of yourself (keep it short and sweet!)
  • An overview of your card
  • Create your card
  • Our audience loves to see mistakes and how you fix them
  • Please mention alternatives (ex. If you’re hot foiling, mention they can get a similar look with heat embossing).
  • Up to a 3-minute pitch for something you offer at the end of the video

Presentations are due by December 15th.

Find a PDF download with all this information here.

3. Freebie and All Access Pass Contribution (optional)

Freebies are a great way of collecting email addresses from the participants. It is best to have a freebie that relates to your presentation. This could be something you have already created. Examples:

  • checklists
  • PDF files
  • a video tutorial
  • instructions for additional card ideas

The All Access Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to grow your email list, you may provide something for the Toolkit. This could include:

  • Templates
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • 1-month memberships
  • eBooks
  • Live classes

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

Anyone who does contribute a All Access Pass resource will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%. It’s also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer.

We cannot accept freebies or percentage-off offers. The value of your resource should be a minimum of $20.

Information for these resources is due on December 15th. You’ll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

Example: In a previous summit, my topic was Ink Blending Christmas Cards. My freebie was a PDF download of my favourite 10 ink blending combinations. My UCT was a mini course on ink-blended scenes featuring three video tutorials with instructions and supply lists. I collected nearly 2000 email addresses in addition to affiliate sales.

4. Promotion

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, there are minimum requirements for promotion. You must send 2 newsletters about the summit (one dedicated newsletter and the second can simply be a blurb about the summit). Additionally 3 social media posts are required. If you don’t have a newsletter, please promote at least 8 times on social media.

Please note: If you do not promote the summit as required, you will not be paid for your video according to the tiered commission structure. You will still earn your affiliate commissions.

Promotion begins January 12th at 12pm (noon) Eastern time (New York). Do not promote early.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link  so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any All Access Pass sales (50% if you’ve contributed a premium bonus).

You’ll find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault below before the marketing period starts. I will email you a link to sign up for the affiliate program closer to the date.

Affiliate Details + Payment

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the All Access Pass where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by March 15th.

The commission structure is as follows:

  • 30% for affiliates who are not speakers
  • 40% for all instructors
  • 50% for all instructors who include a premium bonus

The pricing structure will be:

  • $45 for 30 minutes after initial registration
  • $55  until the summit begins
  • $75 after the summit begins

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics.

Just remember to use your affiliate link.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

Paid Opportunity
As I mentioned when I contacted you, this is a paid opportunity. The payment will be based upon how many tickets are sold throughout the summit. My previous summits have never sold less than 2000 tickets and I have achieved 3000 as well (just to give you an idea!).

1000 Tickets = $50 bonus for every speaker
2000 Tickets = $100 bonus for every speaker
3000  Tickets = $150 bonus for every speaker
4000 Tickets = $200 bonus for every speaker
